The heat wave causes many damages to the skin and over the top the intensity of heat has turned on for many reasons. In order to survive the heat there are some techniques which should never be failed to do.
Initial step is to moisturize your skin. It is very important as when you failed to do so will create excess sebum. This clogs the pores and disables the skin to breathe. Switch to lighter products like the oil free or gel-based formulated moisturizers, moisturizing milk or lotions. You can also mix the moisturizer with your sunscreen for better results.
Even when you are staying indoors apply sunscreen. Non-application causes dark spots, pigmentation and uneven skin tone. UV radiation can penetrate indoors. Even computers emit some amount of UV radiation.
A good cleansing ritual is must for the skin as the skin tends to become oilier during these hot months. Use a salicylic acid-based face wash to lessen the ‘greasy’ feel from the skin.
Drink lots of water and fluids; eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and salads. Limit your coffee intake as it can be harsh on the skin .
Exercising during summer can pose a problem due to the humid weather but do not compromise. It will help not just the body but also the skin to stay healthy and regenerate.
