To spread awareness and to bring attention from the authorities and to sustain a better earth and lively conditions DCSMAT have organized a marathon starting from the Vagamon Town to the DCSMAT campus covering a distance of 11 km along the valley. The marathon will be held on 21st March by 6am On the eve of International Day of Forests, where countries are encouraged to undertake local, national and international efforts to organize activities involving forests and trees, such as tree planting campaigns. With Rs250 the registration can be completed. The prize money for 11 km is Rs10000 and Rs5000 and for covering 5km the prize money is Rs5000 and Rs 3000.
