Acclaimed historian, social critic, and feminist from Kerala, Dr.J Devika is known for her solid stands in taken in various socio-political issues. She has authored several books, and articles on gender relations in early Kerala society. She is bilingual and has translated both fiction and no-fiction books between Malayalam and English.
Devika will render the 20th DC Kizhakemuri Commemorative Oration on the topic Duranthanantharakalavum Chinthayude Adisthanapramanangalum 2018 Augustile keralathil ninnu chinthikumbol’ on 30th October at 5.30pm at Kerala Sahitya Akademi Hall Thrissur.
