Relaunching function of DC Books Store at First Floor, Karimpanal Statue Avenue, Statue Junction, Thiruvananthapuram was held on 22nd January.
Malayalam writers George Onakkoor, K Kunhikrishnan, J Reghu, PY Balan, Balakrishnan Iyer, Rahul Radhakrishnan, Gita Janaki and Ravi Deecee inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The relaunched store is loaded with titles from World renowned publishers like Taylor & Francis, Bloomsbury, Penguin-Random House, HarperCollins, Pan McMillan, Oxford University Press, Simon & Schuster, Phaidon, Thames & Hudson, Hachette, Cambridge University Press, Scholastic along with leading Indian publishers like Orient Blackswan, Sage Publishers, Roli Books, Jaico Books, Motilal Banarsidass, Rupa Publications, Westland, Atlantic Publishers & Distributors, Viva and also major Indian alternative publishers like Permanent Black, Aakar Books, Anthem Press, Speaking Tiger, Tulika Books, Navayana, Zubaan, Left Word, Three Essays Collective, Women Unlimited, Yodha Press has their shelf space in the English section.

The store is equipped with reading hub for those who would like to read a bit and take notes. Cultural evenings including various book releases, discussions on various contemporary topics and interaction with writers will be held on regular basis at the store.
A special team is designed to assist readers which help to procure titles which are not commonly displayed in book stores.
