DC Books Crime Fiction Novel Writing Competition conducted as a part of 100 years of Agatha Christie celebrations announced its winner. Nuero Area written by Shivan Edamana has bagged the prize. Dr. P.K. Rajasekharan, C.V. Balakrishnan, and G.R. Indugopan were the members of the jury. The winner was announced by director Jeethu Joseph today.
Nuero Area is about the close proximity of human minds and computers and a search to find the entirety of the system that humans have become a part of.
The award carries a citation and a cash prize of ₹50000 which will be given on January 12, 2021. Apart from Nuero Area other novels which were shortlisted from hundreds of entries are Dark Net by Adarsh S., Dolls by Rihan Rashid and Kishkindhayude Maunam by Jayaprakash Paanoor.
