“I’m not a politician, but I am a human being who holds very close to his heart the fundamental principles and possibility of peace on this earth. Whatever happens, peace needs to be given a chance to flourish. That’s the only thing we haven’t tried.”- Prem Rawat
Prem Rawat began to speak about peace when he was barely four years old. He is an advocate of peace who believes that peace is possible and it needs to be felt. He propagates the universal message of peace by travelling world wide, appealing to all kinds of audiences, regardless of age, beliefs, or status, whether through intimate gatherings or vast crowds.
The major opponent of peace is the conflict which takes place at three levels. It is between countries between people and within each of us as individuals. The interconnectedness between the three in the world we live in makes it looks like peace is impossible. But Peace is Possible is a calming collection of allegories and illustrations, that help one ponder upon happiness, success and a deeper understanding of life. It urges us to find peace within ourselves.
Prem Rawat, in his book brings together stories which have been passed down over generations. It serves as a source of inspiration as they let us reflect on life. It calls for self introspection by guiding one focus on the power of adaptability, the importance of trust and courage.
