• Cottage cheese -300 gm
• Sliced onion -1 medium
•Pureed tomato -2
• Mint leaves -1/4 cup
• Refined oil -4 tablespoon
• Powdered turmeric -1/4 teaspoon
• Chilli powder -3/4 teaspoon
•Garam masala powder -3/4 teaspoon
Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and saute them till they turn slightly pinkish in hue. Add turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Stir the mixture well.
Add the pureed tomato pulp and cook till it starts to leave the sides of the pan. Now add cottage cheese (malai paneer), dried mint leaves. In a low flame continue stirring. After few minutes, add garam masala and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pudina Paneer is ready to be served.
