Vijayadasami, the culmination of the nine-day long Navarathri festival, witnessed thousands of children scribbling their way into the world of knowledge and learning through the Ezhuthiniruth ritual happening across the state. The Ezhuthiniruth ceremony organized by DC Books and O.V.Vijayan Samaraka Samithi at Thasarak witnessed hundreds of tiny tots writing their first letters. The ceremony which began at 8:00 am featured the writer and actor V.K Sriraman and critic P.K. Rajasekharan who imparted the first syllabary to the kids.
The novel workshop which was organized as a part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the publication of the novel Khasakinte Ithihasam during the Navarathri fest will draw its curtains today at Thasrak.
